With a few successful restaurants currently running all over country, McCormick & Schmick’s features chosen to open its latest area right beside the Somerset Collection South, near Saks Fifth Avenue. Supplying good dinner with an emphasis on seafood, the restaurant is modeled after classic, conventional fish houses located on the East and western coasts. The dining area is dressed in warm mahogany paneling, stained-glass ceilings and accessories, and brass accents. "Snugs" or stands for up to seven friends are curtained down for privacy.

"The selection changes daily consistent with the tradition of providing the best, freshest fish readily available, " says executive cook Mark Kelly. In fact, the restaurant can be so devoted to providing fresh seafood so it does not even have a freezer.

The cigar-friendly bar serves hand-shaken products with fresh-squeezed juices, plus a broad choice of beers, microbrews, wines and spirits (including a thorough collection of single-malt scotches).
