A pub steeped in history
Located in the centre of the Medip Hills and overlooking the village green, the New Inn is surrounded by outstanding beauty. The building was originally a 15th century farm house and was popular with miners who worked in the area right up to the beginning of this century. You couldn’t ask for a more traditional English country pub to catch up with friends.
In recent years the pub has been updated with lounge bars and extra rooms have been added to provide comfortable accommodation for visitors. Our conservatory allows the garden to be enjoyed all year round and is popular for meetings, parties and all kinds of formal functions.
